An Update, An Apology, A Promise.

Hi Mama, how’s it going?

For me, it’s been a year of loss and gains, both in different areas. I’m becoming a grown-up and the growth process gets very very tough sometimes.

Remember when I told you I had some great news to tell you? It’s still good, and the news is even better now. I have so much news to tell you we’ll have to spread it over a few notes. I know you’ll have questions, mama. You always do

So I want to say I’m sorry for not talking to you in a while. I’d say I’ve been busy, but I’ve grown really weary of people who constantly make that claim out of laziness.

So I’m going to just apologize and leave it at that.

My excuse is that I’ve been working behind the scenes on some technical issues that refuse to be resolved. Like you’ve advised me in the past, I’m just laying down that irritation and moving forward with the things that DO work.

SO as for the future, I’m going to promise to make the same effort to keep in touch with you here, as I do with keeping up my weekly phone calls to you. Whatever concerns you about me right now, you can rest assured.

All-in-all, mama, things are okay.
